Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Xena Calendar accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data.

Google data accessed

Xena Calendar requests only the Google OAuth permissions required for its current functionality:

• read-only access to Google Calendar;
• read-only access to Google Tasks.

How the data is used

The application uses Google Calendar and Google Tasks data only to provide personal user-facing features requested by the authorized user, including daily summaries, schedule context, task summaries and related assistant responses.

Storage and processing

Data may be processed within the private server environment used to operate Xena and by the AI service provider configured for Xena, solely as necessary to provide the requested functionality. Xena does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling for advertising, credit decisions, or sale to data brokers.

Sharing

Google user data is not sold. It is not shared with third parties except service providers used to operate the application and provide the requested user-facing features, or where required by law. Such processing is limited to operating Xena for the authorized user.

Data retention

Xena is designed to retrieve current Calendar and Tasks information when needed for its functionality. Operational logs and generated summaries may be retained only as necessary for normal operation, troubleshooting, security and continuity of the private assistant. Retention should be minimized to what is operationally necessary.

User control

The authorized user can revoke Xena Calendar's Google Account access at any time from their Google Account security and connections settings. Revoking access stops further access through the revoked OAuth authorization.

Security

The application is operated as a private service with restricted access. OAuth credentials and other authentication secrets are not intended to be exposed publicly. Google Calendar and Google Tasks access is configured as read-only.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Xena Calendar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
